Welcome to our Pack 354 website! We hope that it can be a valuable resource to keep up with Pack activities and find information quickly. The website will act as a hub for all Pack-related information, including links to online registration, the Pack calendar, and photos from our events. We invite you to explore and let us know if you have any suggestions for additional content. Follow our Pack 354 Facebook page for the latest announcements.

Cubscouting is all about not missing out on opportunities! Our Pack is an unique family-pack open to any Kindergarten to 5th grade, girl or boy student at Valentine Elementary. We encourage shared den meetings and campouts where parents can join their Scouts and model leadership, friendliness, and perhaps most importantly fearlessness when it comes to trying new things.

Yours in Scouting,

Cubmaster Terry & pack 354's mascot, Igor the Parrot

Cubmaster Ed served Pack 354 from 2019– 2023 and successfully launched the Lions program in 2019, and a Girls program in 2020. About Pack 354

Pack 354 has brought the fun of scouting to Valentine Elementary students since we were first chartered in 1954, making us the oldest Cub Scout pack in San Marino.

Our Cub Scout programs provide a foundation upon which our children and families build life lessons, skills and values. It’s a hands-on learning experience that allows scouts to earn achievements through participating in fun activities all while living up to the cub scout motto of “Do your best!”

Our Pack is run entirely by parents. They contribute their time by signing up as committee members, event organizers, and most importantly - den leaders that plan fun adventures and help our cubs achieve advancements in rank.

Symbolism of Pack 354's Logo

2022 San Marino Parrots

San Marino’s symbolism celebrates the proud history of this over 100 year-old, Southern Californian city, with famous landmarks including the Huntington Library and famous statues remembering former resident and mayor, General George S. Patton. But its San Marino’s best-hidden treasure that became the source of inspiration for the shape of Pack 354’s logotype… The serene and bucolic Lacy Park was formerly a lake until it was drained in the 1920’s and redesigned into the shape of the now-patented Google Maps’ pointer pin. The path around the park which resembles the rotated-dropshaped icon, today marks the location of San Marino Pack 354’s Boy Scout House. Another recognizable albeit noisy symbol of San Marino are the large, non-indigenous population of naturalized parrots. Exactly how these parrots first came to SoCal is the basis of many urban legends, but the distinctive beak shape of these endangered species of bright green Amazon parrots clearly distinguishes Pack 354’s logo design from all the others.
